Steve Jobs (Steven Paul Jobs) was born (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) in San Francisco, California, U.S. He was a popular inventor, industrial designer, American entrepreneur. Jobs and Wozniak co-founded Apple in 1976 and are credited as pioneers of the microcomputer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s. Their Apple II product, sold 2 million units worldwide which grew the company quickly. Jobs invited John Sculley, a more experienced CEO in 1985 to head the company.
